Jeremy Brazel: Another Big Game Performance

In the battle of the "G's" (Greenville vs Greer) last Friday one team emerged victorious in pretty convincing fashion. In past seasons it's always been the Red Raider offense that shines but this year the defense can toot their horn a little after some strong performances. One big reason is 2010 DT/DE Jeremy Brazel who helps anchor the defensive line for Phil Madgic's team.

Jeremy Brazel Profile

2010 DT Jeremy Brazel continues to evolve as a player of interest that many schools should start taking a closer look at. At 6'4 250 pounds he has been able to create havoc for opponents of his Greenville Red Raiders.

Last week's battle pitted the Red Raiders against the Greer Yellow Jackets who are known for their smash mouth style of football featuring RB Dominique Parks who has already amassed over huge rushing stats on the young season. Brazel and the Red Raiders defense of coach Phil Madgic dominated the game with the result being a 38-13 victory.

In that win Brazel says he had another strong performance statistically.

"Against Greer I had 6 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 pass break up, and a forced fumble."

SCPrepNation.com is slated to sit down with Brazel to talk further about his recruiting status, season thus far, and what his outlook is for the future with his Greenville High teammates as they appear to be bringing it all together after a convincing win over a strong Greer squad last week...stay tuned!
