Darrice Whitley Profile

J.L. Mann head coach Jeff Craft has an issue that most coaches would love to be experiencing right now. College coaches calling daily for multiple players on his team. Already with the phones ringing off the hook and the mail flowing in mass amounts it appears another prospect for Craft's team is getting his fair share along with already established 2010 SF/SG Brandon Boggs and 2011 SG Damien Leonard, that being 2011 swingman Darrice Whitley.

Schools such as Elon, College of Charleston, and Charlotte have been showing a great deal of interest in the 2011 prospect as of late.

As a lefty, Whitley has superb athleticism and surprisingly good ballhandling abilities which make him such an interesting prospect in that he can play multiple positions. At 6'4 180 pounds he could easily play either guard position on the next level and some small forward depending on the program.
