The season has gotten off to a pretty strong start for Josh Council and the Camden Bulldogs. Their record stands at 3-2 currently and they will face Crestwood High on Friday to open region play. SCPrepNation.com caught up with Council for a quick update to see where things stand currently for the 6'3 200 pound QB/ATH.
Thus far the Bulldogs have posted victories over North Central, West Florence, and Andrew Jackson. Their losses have to Hartsville and Lugoff-Elgin both of whom are very good football teams.
With school such as Clemson, South Carolina, Auburn, North Carolina State, Duke, and Illinois already showing steady interest it was odd to us that many of the other in-state schools weren't showing him early love.
That apparently has changed since our first interview with Council.
"Presbyterian has started recruiting me since the last time we talked," Council told us.
In fact the early stats for Council have been pretty impressive. Below you can check out his stats:
Passing 44-100 800 yards 11 TDs 6 INTs
Rushing 51 carries 254 yards 4 TDs
SCPrepNation.com will have early senior season highlights of Josh Council in the near future so stay tuned to check out the talented prospect here with Scout.com.
