The departure of Quinton Washington (Michigan), Aldrick Fordham (South Carolina), Rockarius King (SC State), and Storm Moore (Appalachian State), left the Timberland Wolves with a number of unanswered questions before taking the football field this fall. Several Low Country residents had already labeled the Wolves' 2009 campaign as a season of rebuilding. Well folks, this is simply not the case, because the Wolves are off to a 7-0 start.
The Wolves were put to the test on this past Friday night in a region 7-AA showdown against Manning High School, in what many thought was going to be an intriguing match-up between these two clubs. Needless to say, this was simply not the case as the Wolves ran away with a 55-3 victory over the Monarchs.
The Wolves were led by their senior quarterback and Coastal Carolina commit, Cody Craig, who contributed heavily in the impressive victory.
