Palmetto State football fans meet Brandon Wilds, a 6-1, 220 pound running back prospect from out of Blythewood High School. This gifted ball carrier from out of the 2011 recruiting class played quite a significant role for the Bengals this past season, rushing for over 1500 yards and scoring 20 rushing TDs.
The gifted back from out of Blythewood, SC shared that he runs a 4.5 in the forty-yard dash, bench presses 315 pounds, squats 480 pounds, and vertically jumps 34 inches.
Brandon is without question a big back that brings a rare blend of size and speed to the game of football. And several have taken notice, including college coaches. In fact a couple of them have already started making their way out to Blythewood High School to check on the Midland Area product.
"I heard Florida stopped by my school on this past Monday," Wilds told SCPrepNation. "I didn't get to talk to the coach or anything like that, but I heard one of the coaches came through. Maryland came by my school about a month ago too; I think it was Coach Seamonson. Georgia Tech, South Carolina, and Clemson are a few others that have been showing interest in me."
Brandon currently doesn't have any offers on the table. But he is expecting for that to change fairly soon. In fact he is in the process of putting together a highlight reel so he can start dispensing out copies to various programs around the country. He is confident that the few offers will start coming in the moment he begins submitting them.
Coming soon, we will be showcasing Brandon's highlight reel right here at SCPrepNation.com. So stay tuned, you don't want to miss it…
