  • Lake City High CB prospect, Sheldon "BAM" Robinson, received a scholarship offer from Butler CC in Kansas. The 5-9 speedster informed that he's been giving Butler a long look, due to the fact that they are one of the top JUCO football programs in the country. We will have on more on Robinson's status in the near future.
  • 2011ATH, Robert Smith, from out of Woodland High School verbally committed to the Clemson Tigers on this past Friday night. Smith is the 7th prospect to verbally commit to the Tigers for next year's recruiting class.

  • Burke ATH, Del'Javon Simmons, made a verbal commitment to join the Citadel Bulldogs Football team next fall. Simmons was probably one of the most underrated players in the state for this year's recruiting class, and is without question a steal for the Bulldogs.

  • Fort Dorchester cornerback prospect, Laurez Matthews, recently picked up a scholarship offer from Catawba College. The 5-11, 175 pound physical corner will be going up for his official visit on the 30th of this month. We will have more on Matthews in the near future.

  • 2009 Shrine Bowl selection, Malcolm Howard, took an official visit up to Furman on this past weekend. And after checking things out up close and personal, the 6-0, 195 pound OLB/SS prospect from out of Goose Creek High School decided to bring his recruitment to a close by verbally committing to the Paladins. Howard is without question a great pick-up for the Paladins 2010 recruiting class.

  • 2010 running back prospect, Quinton Singleton, from out of Scott's Branch HS is scheduled to be in Orangeburg on this upcoming weekend for an official visit to SC State. Along with his offer from SC State, Singleton also holds offers from Howard, and The Citadel.

  • 2010 North/South selection, Geno Porter, picked up his first two scholarship offers on this past week. The 6-0, 210 pound athlete from out of Fort Dorchester received scholarship offers from Newberry College and Campbell University. We will have more on Porter's recruitment as the clock ticks toward Signing Day 2010.
