Zeph Grimes took a trip out to Atlanta, Georgia on this past Friday. And while he was in the area, he took some time out of his schedule to check out the campus at Georgia Tech. Well after seeing everything up close and personal, the 6-0, 200 pound safety prospect came away raving about everything the ACC program to offer…

"It went real good," Grimes said of his recent visit to GT. "Everything was real nice. We went on a little tour around the school; stuff like that. I also got to meet all the coaches and everything. They all showed me a lot of love while I was out there. It was a great visit overall."

"They are at the top of my list. I can see myself going there. I really think I'd fit in well at Georgia Tech." – Bamberg Ehrhardt 2011 safety prospect Zeph Grimes

In so many words, Grimes was simply blown away after seeing everything GT had offer him on yesterday… In fact, he was so overwhelmed until it is almost safe to say that they are in real good standings with him from a recruiting stanpoint... "I really like that school," Grimes said. "I like everything about it."

Grimes even took things a little further... "They are at the top of my list," he continued. "I can see myself going there.I really think I'd fit in well at Georgia Tech."

Grimes did not receive an offer while visiting GT on yesterday, but the gifted safety prospect has a feeling that one may be just around the corner…" I think one is coming soon," Grimes said. "The coaches really love me. In fact, that was one of the things they were talking about; offering me. They told me that they would love to have me at Georgia Tech."

Accompanying Grimes on his trip to GT was 2012 defensive lineman, Martin Aiken. Aiken is already projected to be one of the better defensive lineman prospects out of the 2012 recruiting class. In fact, the 6-3, 240 pound sophomore just recently landed his first verbal offer from Big Ten Country; Illinois.
