Pat Martin Profile caught up with 2011 prospects CB Calvin Caldwell and S Pat Martin of J.L. Mann High School on Monday for a quick update.

"Pat and I are going to be visiting South Carolina this Saturday," Caldwell informed us.

The Gamecocks have shown interest and have been in contact with the pair but have yet to extend an offer to either prospect. Caldwell will be hitting the camp and combine circuit this offseason in hopes of earning his first offer while Martin has 5 scholarship offers already.

Martin holds offers from Arkansas, Duke, Maryland, Minnesota, and UCLA. More offers could be coming in the next few days for Martin and premium subscribers can get the inside scoop on those offers and potential scenarios that may play out by clicking here Pat Martin Scoop.

Caldwell as we said will be hitting the camp and combine circuit. He has already attended Junior Day at Duke and will be doing the same for Vanderbilt on March 27th. Other schools in the mix on a regular basis for Caldwell are nearby Furman, Georgia Tech, and Northwestern.

April 18th Caldwell says he'll be in Charlotte for the National Underclassmen Combine and the following weekend in Atlanta for the Under Armour combine.

Stay tuned to for an update with the J.L. Mann duo once their return from Columbia.
