Q&A With Westminster Catawba's, Ian Brandt.

SM: Now Ian you played on both sides of the ball for Westminster Catawba last season (TE/DL). Do you have a preference as to where you'd like to play in college?

IB: I'd like to play tight end or wide receiver in college. Catching is one of my strong points. And I have a love for it.

SM: Who was your best game against on last season?

IB: My best game was against Northside Christian Academy. I played a great game on defense. And I caught a couple of key passes in that game as well.

SM: What type of awards/honors did you receive on last season?

IB: Last season I made All-conference, All-state, and I was named the Frank and Buck Show Defensive Player of the Week (Week #7).

SM: Which programs have been expressing interest in you as a prospect early on?

IB: Mainly I've been receiving letters from Duke and Georgia Tech.

SM: Have you been on any visits this spring? Or, do you have any coming up soon?

IB: Yes sir. Next weekend I have an unofficial visit to Duke for their Spring Game.

SM: Who has been showing you the most recruiting attention so far?

IB: Georgia Tech. They've probably been sending me the most letters so far.

SM: Will you be attending any camps this summer?

IB: Yes sir. I plan to attend camps at Georgia Tech, Duke, and hopefully the Citadel. I haven't really received anything from the Citadel, but that's one school that I'd really love to hear from.

SM: Any other schools in particular that you'd like to hear from?

IB: Yes sir. I'd like to hear from Appalachian State, Virginia Tech and Clemson also.

SM: What do you plan to study in college?

IB: I plan to study Criminal Justice in college
