Mike Rose Profile

We've watched 2011 Hillcrest prospect Mike Rose evolve from a DE his freshman season to a big time LB prospect heading into his senior season. The transition has gone well moving from end to a linebacker. His recruitment started off slowly but has quickly transitioned into a snowball as of late.

Rose has picked up quite a few offers in recent months and it appears that he'll have more on his resume in the near future as film is still being circulated of the speedy linebacker who has a knack for making big plays.

"I just got offered by Kentucky yesterday," Rose told SCPrepNation.com.

The Wildcats have been a program that has had great success in recruiting the Palmetto State for top talent in recent years. They have already extended offers to quite a few prospects in the 2011 class here in South Carolina.

Rose says he'll take a visit to Lexington probably next month sometime to check out the facilities and see what the Wildcats have to offer.
