Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, Colo.) senior Tom Glissmeyer took an official visit to USC last weekend and came away very impressed.
"It was just a good fit and I got the right feeling down there," Glissmeyer says. "It was the toughest decision of my life."
Glissmeyer, who won the Class 4A state title last year in sudden-death overtime, was also considering Duke and Georgia Tech.
Glissmeyer was the youngest competitor at the 2003 US Open after qualifying for the major by shooting a 3-under 141 at the Columbine Country Club (Littleton, Colo.).
