Gatorade Players of the Year

Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse, N.Y.) Greg Paulus heads the list of elite high school athletes earning 2005 Gatorade National Player of the Year honors.

In its 20th anniversary season of honoring the nation's elite high school athletes, Gatorade Thirst Quencher will announce National Players of the Year in 10 sports for the 2004-05 school year. The award, which recognizes athletic achievement as well as the academic performance and overall character of its recipient, distinguishes each winner as the nation's best high school athlete in his or her sport. The National Players of the Year for 2004-05 school year are:
