Notes: "On the Bubble" Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, Pa.) defeated Latrobe (Latrobe, Pa.), 34-7, in the first round of the WPIAL Quad A playoffs. Lamont Smith led the offensive attack by rushing for 168 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries. It was the Vikings' 27th consecutive victory against WPIAL opponents.
