Chism's injury forces early exit

Wayne Chism exited the Bolivar Central locker room, leaned against a wall and struggled to support himself on a pair of insufficiently tall crutches.

He reached into a jacket pocket and pulled out a orange sock cap. Once he had the cap in place, he was ready to field questions, but the questions where not the type he envisioned when his night at Belmont's Curb Event Center began.

An ankle sprain had forced the 6-foot-9 Chism out of Bolivar's game with Memphis Mitchell, part of the nationally televised Old Spice Red Zone doubleheader, and it was difficult to ascertain whether the sprain pain hurt him more physically or emotionally.
