UT football ahead for Reveiz

Nick Reveiz said he's motivated to prove them wrong — so what if he lacks a few inches of height as judged by the world of major college football?

If U-T thinks I'm a little too short for a scholarship, so be it, it makes me just work that much harder," said Reveiz, a 5-foot-10, 225-pound All-state linebacker and Mr. Football finalist as a Farragut High School senior, a couple of days after agreeing to become a preferred walk-on at the University of Tennessee. "Every time I put on my pads I'm [upset]. I want to show everybody ... it's good for me, it's extra motivation.

"I really feel that I can play at the Division One level. I'm not saying that to be cocky, I'm not saying that to be over-confident."
