High school stars try to get a leg up

Matt Elrod will be the first to admit having strong legs is critical to being successful on the football field. Elrod, a David Lipscomb senior, needs his powerful legs to run through the line of scrimmage as a running back.

Elrod has been able to add muscle to his legs by working out during the week, running 50 yards at a time with a weight sled strapped to his back.
