Practice turns to scrimmages

High school football teams across the state spent the past four days beating and banging on each other in the first week of pads. For many, now comes the reward; they get to hit someone from an opposing team.

"It's good to see another team," said Page sophomore quarterback Blake Neel, whose team got a jump on many of their peers with a scrimmage on Thursday. "We've been used to hitting on our own teammates."
