Previews: Loudon and Lenoir City get regional

Loudon, still reeling from the Alcoa setback, gave up a late 60 yard scoring toss and fell to Wildcats of Polk County 17-13. A week of rest and reflection was just what the doctor ordered for the Panthers of Lenoir City. Coming off a disheartening loss to Knoxville Central a weekend away from the gridiron should do wonders for the psyche of the Loudon County boys.

Things do not get any easier as undefeated Kingston comes to Loudon County with nothing on their collective minds except maintaining their unblemished record. The Yellowjackets have unveiled an intense rushing attack led by Josh King and a solid offensive front. Loudon will need to find their "mojo" and get back to the basic which means an incredibly heavy dose of Hawkins.

The Panthers hit Knoxville for a date with the West Rebels in a huge region contest for both teams. Lenoir City will need to show more offensive balance using quarterback Zach Cusick as both a passing and running threat and utilizing the talents of Andrew White as a runner and receiver. The Panther defense will have to be on their toes and prepared for the quick strike West offense led by quarterback Jake Ryan.
