Teague commented on being listed in the top ten of the PrepTennessee.com Top 40 list by saying, "To be one of the top prospects in the state is a great honor."
Teague is excited about the offer from Ole Miss and especially his interaction with Coach Houston Nutt. He explained, "When I talked to Coach Nutt he was real fired up about trying to get me down there. I love the enthusiasm coming from the head coach."
He went on to say about the campus, "I thought the campus was phenomenal. The overall facilities as far as the weight room, the training room, the field itself and the indoor practice facilities."
In regards to his offer from Duke, Teague was very upfront and honest. He commented, "I don't know much about Duke." He explained, "I know they got Coach Cutcliffe, the offensive coordinator from Tennessee, and he talked about the coaching staff."
Even with that being said Teague commented, "I actually don't know too much about Duke, but I plan to look into."
He went on to talk about two other schools that may become his eleventh offer. He said, "Stanford called me and I talked to their defensive back coach and he said once he showed the film to the head coach he said he was going to try to get the offer."
Teague also explained of another potential school, "My coach, Coach Gaddis, tells me he talks to Auburn a lot."
One of the schools Teague spoke about was the in state school Tennessee. He commented, ‘Tennessee is a traditional school, it's a home school, and it's not that far."
He went on to say of the Volunteers, "I like the fact that Coach Fulmer has been a long time so more than likely by the time I graduate there is a good chance that he will still be there."
Teague is also impressed with Tennessee's staff and potential recruiting class. He commented, "I like the coaching staff and the players they are going after, and the whole program right now."
Another state school that is after Teague is Vanderbilt. He said of the Commodores, "I've developed a real nice relationship with Coach Johnson, he is very understanding. There is a good relationship there and the school as a whole, a degree from Vanderbilt will go a long way."
He went on to explain what he wants in the school he chooses, "I'm looking for first the chance of winning a national championship. I want to go to a school where I have a great chance of winning it."
As far as other items he will look for he said, "Academics will be the second factor and the third factor will be playing time. I know some of the schools have talked to me about coming in as a true freshman and playing." He added, "The last thing would be the coaching staff. You've got to be around those people the next four years of your life, so have to make sure they are the right people to be around."
In order to find out which of these schools offers the most Teague is working on his summer plans to get in as many visits as possible this summer. He said, "I plan to go down to Miami this summer and then go to Clemson and back up to Tennessee." He added of narrowing down his list, "This summer I plan to get out and see a lot of these schools. Once I get time to do that I can really narrow it down."
