Jamaul Starnes, 6'3, 194 pound safety and wide receiver prospect from Franklin (Tenn.) is hoping to get his first offer this summer. Find out who is recruiting Starnes and what he thinks about them.

Jamaul Starnes reported, "I'm getting recruited by Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and Purdue."

He said of Tennessee, "I like the style that Tennessee's defense plays." Starnes added, "I love the team, the coaches, and how they treat the players. If you have a problem with academics they have their own library where you can go study and get help."

Another school after Starnes is Middle Tennessee State. Starnes commented, "I don't know much about them yet, but I'm going to their camp on June 8th."

Purdue has also shown an interest in Starnes. He said of visiting campus, "No, but I'm going this summer to their camp."

Starnes explained, "I have good leadership skills. I have good eye hand coordination; I'm very good at that." He went on to say, "I want to improve my tackling."

As far as Starne's expectation for his team he commented, "I think we've got a good chance to go to state, but we've got a really young team." He said of his experience as a player at Franklin, "Every Friday night the lights are on and the stands are always packed and that's a plus."
