Gabriel Hunter said, "I have 12 offers. I've got offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Memphis, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Ole Miss, Auburn, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, and Arkansas."
One of the most recent schools to offer was Auburn. Hunter explained, "They told my coach I had an offer. I think it's a great running back school. They said they can use a running back like me in their offense and I can be a big help."
As far as naming any leaders Hunter said, "Right now Alabama is my top favorite. I like Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Louisville."
Hunter said of Alabama, "I'm in real good with their coaches. I like that it's a real football state, so I think I will fit in good."
He went on to say of Ole Miss, "I like that it isn't too far from home. I know a couple of their players and the running backs coach."
Another SEC program after Hunter is Tennessee. Hunter explained of Tennessee, "It's a home state and I talked to them a long time ago, but recently I haven't been talking to them."
Right now Hunter knows what he wants in his choice. He commented, "Can I get along with the players and coaches? I want to see when I'm going to get to play. I don't mind redshirting, but I just want to see when I'm going to get to play."
As for when the process will move on or the list will narrow Hunter had originally said by the end of the summer. Most recently he said, "I've been to the Alabama camp. I'm going to try to go on all of my visits this summer. I was going to try and do it at the end of this summer. I still might but I don't know yet."
