Fearless Friday Predictions

Week three brings some great competition across the state headlined by some of the state's top prospects. Find out more about the top teams and top players across the state in action across the state.

Knoxville-Bearden (Tenn.) vs. Knoxville-Farragut (Tenn.)

VS.

In a game that has become the battle of "How the West was won", denoting the West Knoxville location of both schools, should be a good one. The Admirals of Knoxville-Farragut carry their number one ranking in 5A and undefeated record into one of the biggest rivalry games in East Tennessee. The Admirals led by junior quarterback Reese Browning, who has started the season with 24 completions on 35 attempts for 383 yards and five touchdowns. The Admirals will look to establish a solid ground game led by offensive guard and Georgia Tech commitment Will Jackson.

PrepTennessee.com Prediction:

This game may be a big rivalry game but at the end the Admirals will have too much firepower for the Bulldogs of Knoxville-Bearden. Look for Browning to continue to improve on the aerial attack and Jackson to pave the way for the ground game.

Knoxville Farragut 35 Knoxville-Bearden 14

Kingsport-Dobyns Bennett (Tenn.) vs. Oak Ridge (Tenn.)

VS.

The Tribe from Kingsport-Dobyns Bennett look to continue their winning ways this week as they invade the Atomic city. The Wildcats from Oak Ridge (Tenn.) hope to combine weapons like athlete Demarcus Rogers, 5-11, 175 pounds and quarterback Tyler Clark, 6-3, 195 pounds in a big game atmosphere. On paper Kingsport seems to have the edge in this contest, but fans should take into consideration the home field advantage for the Wildcats.

The Tribe will have the services of sophomore sensation Chris Sensabaugh at the tailback position. This rematch of the first round playoff game in 2007 seems to be lining up as a pivotal game for each team. Coach Stanton Stevens and his Wildcats need this win at home in order to solidify their place in East Tennessee football, and Coach Graham Clark's Tribe need the win to keep their momentum rolling.

PrepTennessee.com Prediction:

The lure of Blankenship Field may not be enough to pull the Wildcats through in this rivalry game. Oak Ridge (Tenn.) will need to play tough defense and isolate Sensabaugh to take away the big play. The Wildcats have had some problems scoring on offense and will need to execute in order to have a chance. Look for the game to be tight, but for the Tribe to pull away in the end.

Nashville-Montgomery Bell Academy vs. Nashville-Hillsboro

VS.

The Big Red of Montgomery Bell Academy hope to keep their season rolling as they travel to Hillsboro this Friday night. Montgomery Bell Academy led by quarterback Spenser Wise and offensive linemen Wesley Johnson look to improve their dominance against one of the top teams in 4A.

The Burros from Nashville-Hillsboro have been executing on both sides of the football, but had a minor setback with an injury to star wide receiver Eric Gordon two weeks ago. Gordon is back and ready to roll in a big time game against Montgomery Bell Academy. The combination of Gordon and wide receiver Corey Jordan will help the Burros compete in this ball game.

PrepTennessee.com Prediction:

This game will be one of the biggest games in the state and promises to show fans some of the top talent of Tennessee. Look for Montgomery Bell Academy to take their big game experience and run with this one.

Montgomery Bell Academy 31 Hillsboro 13

Paris-Henry County vs. Martin-Westview

VS.

The Patriots of Paris-Henry County hope to stay undefeated on the season this Friday night. The combination of quarterback Marsalis Teague and fullback Dominque Allen have proven to be too much so far in the early season. Fans shouldn't expect their dominance to change this week. Teague, who lists Florida and Miami as co-leaders, will use his great athleticism to make big plays. Allen, on the other hand, has a great frame and carried the football with a mission.

PrepTennessee.com Prediction:

Fans can expect the Patriots led by Teague and Allen to put up some big numbers this Friday on route to a big win over a quality opponent. Henry County 35 Westview 20
