Tenn. OL Garnering Some Interest

Find out more about one East Tennessee linemen and his opportunities to play football at the next level. Learn more about the schools that are showing the most interest in Hunter Beedle from Kingsport-Sullivan South (Tenn.).

Hunter Beedle, 6-3, 262 pound offensive guard from Kingsport-Sullivan South reported, "I received an offer from Austin Peay." Beedle commented, "I have not been on a visit yet and I want to see what the school is like." For today he was able to meet with the coaches in order to get the offer. He said of his visit, "I met the coaches and they seem like really great guys. They talked about their FCA program and I liked that a lot."

For Beedle there are a few other schools showing him interest at this time. He reported, "I have an offer from Bethel." He went on to say, "I am being recruited by Middle Tennessee, Wofford, Eastern Kentucky, and Carson Newman."

As for receiving any offers from these schools he said, "No, but they have all been talking about it." As for the schools that seem to possibly move towards an offer he said, "I think Carson Newman and Middle Tennessee may be close."

The 2008 season was successful for Beedle and his teammates. His team was able to claim the region title for the fourth consecutive year and rack up some individual honors along the way. He explained, "I had a great time. I won the conference linemen of the year. I also won the Charter Business Player of the Week in week eight for the whole Tri-cities."

The next few months should be important for Beedle as he will continue to work hard towards his goal of playing at the next level. He commented, "I plan to lift weights and hopefully get recruited more. I will take an official visit around January 15th to go to Austin Peay. I also have visits scheduled to Wofford and Bethel."
