2nd Annual Toyota East/West All Star Classic

For most players across the state the season has been over for a few weeks and for a few they were able to play a few more weeks in November. However, for about 90 seniors from across the state, this week will be a final chance to play in a high school football game at the 2nd Annual Toyota East vs. West All Star Classic. The game will highlight some of the top talent in the state from four star players to a few unknown prospects hoping to make a name.

This week PrepTennessee.com hopes to give full coverage of the event including team breakdowns and player interviews. Fans should be able to check in and weigh in on the latest with the preparation of both teams as they get ready for the showdown on Saturday December 13th at Carson Newman's Burke Tarr Stadium in Jefferson City, Tennessee.

Some of the top talent in the state will be featured in the game including players like Henry County-Paris duo quarterback Marsalis Teague and running back Dominique Allen. Also included are top Nashville area prospects like defensive back Eric Gordon, wide receiver Zach Rogers, offensive tackle Logan Massengale, offensive guard Sean Conway, quarterback Jamal Ramsey, and wide receiver Corey Jordan.

The East roster has its fair share of talent from the Scout.com database including wide receivers Sam Thompson and Arcavius McMurray. Other top talents include offensive guard Will Jackson, offensive guard Jebb Lenhart, offensive guard Kevin Revis, quarterback Kier Houston, tailback David Jones, and linebacker DeMarcus Knight.

The game will kickoff at 12 p.m. EST this Saturday at Burke-Tarr Stadium on the Carson Newman campus.
