Checking in with the East All Stars

Find out what the players are thinking the night before the big game. Learn more from some of the top players competing in tomorrow's Toyota East vs. West All Star Classic.

Kevin Revis, 6-4, 290 pounds from Evensville-Rhea County said of his East squad, "I think things are looking good. The defense has been looking good all week and we finally got the offense looking good."

As for Revis he looks to help anchor an offensive line that should prove to have a few solid prospects including at least four college football bowl championship division linemen. He explained, "I will probably start out at guard and play some tackle too." Revis will be joined by Georgia Tech commitment Will Jackson, 6-4, 280 pound guard from Knoxville-Farragut, Middle Tennessee commitment, Josh Walker, 6-4, 285 pounds from Evensville-Rhea County, and Western Kentucky commitment Jebb Lenhart, 6-4, 280 pounds.

For Revis the offense for the East team has been something he has enjoyed. He explained, "It's a little bit of everything." As for any tricks in the arsenal he reported, "There might be a play or two."

A win for the East would give them their second in as many years. Last year it was a one sided affair with the East running away with it 26-6. Revis hopes he and his teammates are able to do the same this year. He said, "Everyone is ready to go and to play hard." He went on to add, "We are going to play hard, do well, and win the game."
