Marlon Brown erased any doubts that anyone could ever have of his abilities tonight. Brown, who is the number three receiver in the nation, showed his skills tonight in the second annual Under Armour All Star game.
Some critics have said that Brown has been able to dominate in a league that does not provide much competition, but he ran into some of the best competition in the nation tonight. Even facing the tough competition Brown was able to show off his skills. It did not take long for Brown to show what he could do in the open field. The first play of the game for Brown's team he caught an inside slant route from top quarterback prospect Matt Barkley and turned on his speed boosters for a 71 yard touchdown.
For those critics of Brown his blazing speed, size, and athleticism was evident. He showed his skills early and often as he seemed to be the top target for Barkley early in the game. During the game Brown reported he was down to Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and Ohio State for his commitment.
PrepTennessee.com hopes to catch up with Brown in the next few days to get more details on his performance and experience in Orlando. There is no doubt that his recruitment will be followed closely over the next month as we near National Signing Day, which is expected to be the day he will make his commitment.
