CLASS 6A

Lake Travis’ senior quarterback Charlie Brewer (SMU) went 13 of 16 passing for 355 yards with five touchdowns as the Cavaliers defeated Cedar park Vista Ridge 61-7. 

DeSoto defeated Irving Nimitz 68-0 as junior Kelan Walker rushed for 283 yards with six touchdowns on 21 carries, all in the first half.

Cedar Hill defeated South Grand Prairie 28-21 as senior quarterback Avery Davis (Notre Dame) went 14 of 23 passing for 231 yards with three touchdowns and senior receiver Charleston Rambo (Oklahoma) had seven pass receptions for 119 yards with two touchdowns.

Allen’s senior quarterback  Mitch Jonke (Brown) rallied the Eagles to a fourth quarter 38-31 comeback win over Plano East going 15 of 23 passing for 228 yards with two touchdown tosses and rushed for 123 yards on seven carries with the winning touchdown on a 10-yard carry. For the Panthers quarterback Miklo Smalls (Rice) went 10-19 passing for 127 yards with one touchdown toss and rushed for 198 yards with two touchdowns on 21 carries in the loss.

Denton Guyer shut out McKinney Boyd 37-0 with sophomore running back Noah Cain rushing for 180 yards with a touchdown on 14 carries.

El Paso El Dorado junior quarterback Cedarious Barfield went 14 of 18 passing for 167 yards with two touchdowns and rushed for 177 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries as El Dorado defeated El Paso Americas 42-29.

Abilene defeated Keller 59-21 with Abram Smith (Tulsa) rushing for 163 yards with two touchdowns on 22 carries. 

Wolfforth Frenship defeated Midland Lee 58-28 as sophomore Garrison Johnson rushed for 196 yards with two touchdowns on 30 carries. He also returned a fumble 45 yards for a touchdown.

San Angelo Central’s Daven Manning rushed for 216 yards with a touchdown on 30 carries as the Bobcats defeated Midland High 40-21.

Arlington Martin defeated Arlington 51-21 behind the running of junior Juma Otoviano who rushed for 225 yards with four touchdowns on 17 carries.

Senior quarterback Chance Fuller went 10 of 18 passing for 189 yards with six touchdown tosses in Arlington Lamar’s 48-9 win over Fort Worth Paschal.

Tariq Woolen had five pass receptions for 136 yards with three touchdowns as Arlington Heights defeated Fort Worth Western Hills 63-7.

Hebron’s junior quarterback Clayton Tune went 20 of 24 passing for 316 yards with five touchdowns and rushed for 64 yards with one touchdown as the Hawks defeated Lewisville 51-27. Junior receiver Jaren Mitchell had nine pass receptions for 186 yards with three touchdowns.

Sachse’s junior quarterback Jalen Mayden went 22 of 27 passing for 333 yards with three touchdowns as the Mustangs shut out Garland Naaman Forest 28-0.

Rowlett’s Kobe Morrow rushed for 201 yards with three touchdowns on 25 carries and receiver LaDarius Dickens had five pass receptions for 98 yards with two touchdowns in the 63-62 overtime win over Garland Lakeview Centennial. 

Senior quarterback Bryson Smith (Houston) went 17 of 27 passing for 365 yards with four touchdowns and rushed for 115 yards with three scores on 12 carries as Tyler John Tyler beat Mesquite Horn 69-22.

North Mesquite defeated Tyler Lee 63-61 as Dreshawn Minnieweather (Houston Baptist) rushed for 200 yards with four touchdowns on 11 carries.

Senior quarterback Kordell Rodgers (Texas State) went 17 of 28 passing for 267 yards with two touchdowns and receiver Dhailon Phillips had four pass receptions for 102 yards with two touchdowns as Lukfin beat Conroe 34-21.

Fort Bend Hightower beat Fort Bend Travis 59-38 with junior Devin McAdoo rushing for 170 yards with two touchdowns on 17 carries and he returned a punt 72 yards for a touchdown.

Will McBride (Memphis) went 13 of 18 passing for 257 yards with two touchdowns and rushed for 55 yards with a touchdown on eight carries as Clear Springs defeated Friendswood 38-28. Junior receiver Peyton Sawyer had three pass receptions for 133 yards with two touchdowns in the win.

George Ranch defeated Alief Elsik 36-9 with running back Alex Fontenot (Colorado) rushing for 192 yards with three touchdowns on 19 carries.

Alief Taylor’s quarterback Dontay Warren went 14 of 26 passing for 155 yards with three touchdowns and rushed for 103 yards with three touchdowns in the Lions’ 47-28 win over Pearland Dawson.

Sophomore Kris Morris rushed for 135 yards with three touchdowns on 10 carries as Pasadena Dobie defeated Pasadena 49-7.

San Antonio Taft defeated San Antonio Holmes 41-7 with Kali Stevens (SFA) rushing for 202 yards with two touchdowns on 23 carries. 

Quarterback Bryce Rivers (UTSA) went 18 of 27 passing for 424 yards with six touchdowns and Logan Mann (Air Force) had four pass receptions for 167 yards with two touchdowns as San Antonio Stevens defeated San Antonio Jay 55-12.

Smithson Valley defeated Converse Judson 44-14 as senior quarterback Josh Adkins (New Mexico State) went 15 of 21 passing for 230 yards with two touchdowns and rushed for 122 yards with three touchdowns on 19 carries.

Freshman running back Campbell Speights rushed for 191 yards with three touchdowns on 10 carries to lead McAllen Memorial to a 59-7 win over La Joya Juarez-Lincoln.

CLASS 5A

Denton Ryan’s junior quarterback Spencer Sanders (Oklahoma State) went 25 of 33 passing for 382 yards with five touchdowns and rushed for 21 yards and a touchdown on nine carries as the Raiders beat Denison 41-14. Ryan’s junior receiver Gabriel Douglas (Texas Tech) had seven pass receptions for 160 yards with three touchdowns in the win. 

Junior quarterback Kason Martin went 18 of 29 passing for 250 yards with three touchdowns as Manvel defeated Santa Fe 54-21. Caleb Jolivette rushed for 91 yards with a touchdown on two carries and senior receiver Keylon Stokes (Tulsa) had five pass receptions for 62 yards with two touchdowns while rushing for 20 yards with a touchdown on three carries in the win.

Lancaster’s junior quarterback Trevor Hatton accounted for 378 total yards with four touchdowns in the Tigers’ 42-35 win over Waxahachie.

Birdville’s senior quarterback Clayton Beeter completed 14 of 32 passing for 322 yards with 7 touchdowns in a 55-0 win over Fort Worth Poly.

Haslet Easton’s sophomore running back Titus Swen rushed for 244 yards with three touchdowns on 25 carries as Easton defeated Saginaw 40-33.

Fort Worth South Hills’ Kyran Jackson rushed for 178 yards with four touchdowns on 19 carries as the Scorpions shut out Fort Worth Southwest 55-0.

Little Elm freshman quarterback Drew Sanders went 9 of 22 passing for 140 yards with two touchdowns and rushed for 135 yards with two scores on 17 carries as Lobos the defeated Lake Dallas 34-29.

Frisco Lone Star’s Jason Shelley (Utah) went 14 of 19 passing for 229 yards with four touchdowns and rushed for 31 yards on seven carries in Lone Star’s 52-0 shutout win over Frisco Reedy. Jaylen Dixon had 8 pass receptions for 179 yards with 4 touchdowns for the Rangers in the win.

Frisco Wakeland’s Cooper Chandler went 12 of 14 passing for 248 yards with four touchdowns and running back Jay Orji rushed for 232 yards with four touchdowns on 22 carries as the Wolverines defeated Frisco Heritage 77-49.

Frisco Independence defeated Frisco Centennial 74-48 with Dom Williams (Kansas) rushing for 179 yards with five touchdowns on 21 carries. 

Wylie East’s Eno Benjamin rushed for 170 yards with three touchdowns on 21 carries and had two pass receptions for 44 yards with a touchdown as the Raiders defeated Forney 49-28.

Ennis beat Nacogdoches 27-14 behind the running of junior Tycen Thompson who rushed for 207 yards with two touchdowns on 18 carries.

Aledo defeated Justin Northwest 61-27 with quarterback Dillon Davis going 15 of 24 passing for 234 yards with three touchdowns and rushed for 75 yards with one touchdown on six carries.

Grapevine junior quarterback Alan Bowman went 17 of 30 passing for 225 yards with four touchdowns in the 51-26 win over Fort Worth Eastern Hills.

McKinney North defeated Carrollton R.L. Turner 48-9 with junior running back Lamar Lucas rushing for 132 yards with four touchdowns on 11 carries.

Alamo Heights defeated Boerne Champion 38-34. In the loss for the Chargers, junior quarterback Davis Brin went 36 of 49 passing for 442 yards with four touchdowns.

CLASS 4A

Van’s junior quarterback Garrett Moseley accounted for 452 total yards of offense in the Vandals’ 33-14 win over Kaufman. Moseley completed 11 of 15 passes for 248 yards with four touchdowns and rushed for 204 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.

Center’s quarterback Kyle Parks was responsible for all six of the Roughriders’ touchdowns in the 40-39 upset of Kilgore. Parks had 65 yards rushing with four touchdowns and went 24 of 32 for 307 yards with two touchdowns, both to Octavious Evans, who finished with 12 pass receptions for 250 yards. Evans scored the winning touchdown with 33 seconds left in the game on 14 yard reception.

Carthage defeated Palestine 48-16 with junior running back Keaontay Ingram rushing for 105 yards with three touchdowns on 14 carries.

Marshall defeated Longview Pine Tree 49-7 with running back Cam Haller rushing for 193 yards with four touchdowns on 14 carries.

Silsbee defeated Huffman Hargrave 60-36 behind running back Calvin Tyler who rushed for 382 yards with five touchdowns on 17 carries. 

CLASS 2A

Refugio’s Jaylon Mascorro rushed for 156 yards with three touchdowns on 21 carries as the Bobcats shut out Weimar 41-0.

Trenton's senior running back Nik Sambrano, rushed for 246 yards with six touchdowns and passed for a seventh score as Trenton beat Celeste, 59-36. It was Trenton’s first district win in 25 games since reinstating its football program in 2012.
