Macarthur made a huge push last season during district play last season winning five games to advance to the postseason. With a final record of 6-5, the Generals return seven starters in their quest to success in 2007.

Known for their strong rushing attack, the Generals will line up in the multiple I with quarterback Justin Reese taking the snaps. Reese saw some time last year throwing for 104 yards and two touchdowns.

With the departure of last year's district leading rusher Anthony Conner, athlete Isaac Lewis (111 yards, TD) will be in the backfield. Top returning linemen are Vital Oseqeda and Travis Pickens. Willie Patterson, who was an All-District offensive tackle as a junior, will play tight end for the Generals.

Defensively, the Generals will look to linebacker Lewis for leadership after a strong junior campaign. Lewis was All-District and was the team's leading tackler with 120. Craig Graves (27 tackles, INT) will also line up at linebacker.

In the secondary, there is plenty of experience with Javis McQueen and Jaquillam Harmason. McQueen, a two-year starter, recorded 51 tackles and 3 interceptions in 2006. Harmason had 39 tackles last year and may also see time at running back this season.
