As Jersey Village coach David Snokhous heads into his tenth season, the Falcons seem to have the personnel to make some serious noise in 2007. After finishing 5-6 last season, 10 starters return to reload for this season.

With running back Anthony Bibbs in the backfield, the Falcons should have one of the top ground games in the state. Bibbs rushed for 1,214 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior. Quarterback Brian Ellis was chosen to take the snaps.

Wide receiver Nick Murray will likely be Ellis' primary target. Athlete Lewis Crawford will also make the rotation. Linemen Joseph Bautista, Michael Dagz, and Charles Washington are returning on the front line.

Defensively, linebacker Trey Briggs leads the Falcon defense. Dejon Creeks will play along side Briggs. On the defensive line, ends Tim Benford and Corey Wright will hold it down.

In the secondary, cornerback Kendrick Brady and safety Steven Campbell are the Falcons' last line of defense.

Kicker Brian Davis is back and was 100 percent on field goals in 2006. He will also handle the punting duties as well.
