After a 3-7 finish in 2006, things seem to be on the up-and-up as Eisenhower reloads with 14 returning letterman, many of who are in the Class of 2009. The Eagles are well equipped with talent on both sides of the ball.

Offensively, quarterback Kenneth Guiton earned the starting position this spring. Guiton started six games as a sophomore and threw for nearly 900 yards and six touchdowns. He will have a couple of big-time targets for 2007.

Wide receivers Jazmon Reynolds and Greg Timmons proved they are capable wide outs after solid sophomore campaigns. Washington Allen will also be in the rotation.

In the backfield, Curtis McGregor will be the Eagles' workhorse. McGregor rushed for over 700 yards and five touchdowns in 2006. C. Gaylord Dunn, Willie Hubbard, and Evan Cotter return on the offensive line.

On defense, Roderick Davis leads Eisenhower up front at tackle. Davis racked up 86 tackles as junior. Also look for newcomer Jay Guy to make some noise.

Darius Willis, who played some quarterback last season, will be Eagles' primary linebacker. Brandon Boyd and Edward Wright will line up alongside Willis.

The secondary is in good hands with junior Craig Loston at safety. Loston pulled down two interceptions and had 100 tackles last year. Brandon Owens, Terrance Fletcher, and Kenneth Johnson are the other starting defensive backs.

Eisenhower may use Loston, Willis, and Davis on both sides of the ball. Either way, with the experience returning for the Eagles, look for them to snag one of those playoffs spots for 2007.
