Week Zero Games:

Katy vs. Klein
Cinco Ranch vs. Cy Ridge
Alief Elsik vs. Aldine Nimitz
Alief Taylor vs. FB Bush
Katy Taylor vs. Langham Creek
Alief Hastings vs. FB Austin
Mayde Creek vs. FB Dulles
Morton Ranch vs. Cy Springs

Week Zero Outlook:
Who's ready for some football? Katy will take on Klein, and it should be a good one. Also, the Cy Ridge/Cinco Ranch game will be a nice repeat from last season. The Elsik and Nimitz match up features a lot of great athletes, while A. Taylor and Bush face off. Langham Creek will likely edge K. Taylor and Hastings will travel to challenge Austin. Mayde Creek will take on Dulles, and Cy Springs and Morton Ranch will play at Pridgeon.

Katy vs. Klein: Katy seems to be primed and ready to take on all opponents this season. With the Bo Mitchell and Aundre Dean combo, the Tigers are hard to beat (even on the road). Klein will play them tough, but my vote goes to the Tigers. Katy by 14.

Cinco Ranch vs. Cy Ridge: This game, for Cy Ridge, will be payback for last season. The Rams were defeated twice, one of which knocked them out of postseason play. Rams QB Russell Shepard is back with a year under his belt. It will turn into a dogfight, but I'll take Cy Ridge by 7.

Alief Elsik vs. Aldine Nimitz: This one will be quite interesting. Crump Stadium will be filled with so much speed you may need a radar gun to keep up. With Elsik's Jeremy Hills and Nimitz QB Michael Thomas on the field, fans will stay on their feet. I see the Rams coming out on top. Elsik by 7.

Alief Taylor vs. FB Bush: The Lions travel to Fort Bend in this preseason match up. Look for Taylor's Donte Elliott to have a big game offensively. From start to finish, the Lions should dominate. Taylor by 14.

Katy Taylor vs. Langham Creek: Look for Langham Creek's QB Max Jenkins to have a big game through the air. Taylor will come out hard and fast with a new style of defense. But, I see the Lobos taking this one. Langham Creek by 10.

Alief Hastings vs. FB Austin: Hastings RB Saheed Imoru and Austin's Benn Fairbanks are the two players to play close attention to. The offense should be there for both teams, but this game is one that will come down to defense. And I think the Fighting Bears will win that battle. Hasting by 7.

Mayde Creek vs. FB Dulles: Mayde Creek comes into this match up a strong team defensively led by Jowyn Ward. But the Rams have the difficult task of defending Dulles WR Daryl Stonum. This may prove to be a hard-hitting game that I feel goes on favor of the Vikings. Dulles by 14.

Morton Ranch vs. Cy Springs: Here we have two teams lining up that had minimal success last season. As far as talent is concerned, Cy Springs has the slight edge. With that said, I'm going with the Panthers. Cy Springs by 14.
