The Woodlands travels to Rhodes Stadium to play against the #7 state ranked Katy Tigers. Lufkin and Oak Ridge take on two 4A teams and College Park plays the battle of the second year programs as they take on Katy Morton Ranch. Conroe takes on an improved Aldine MacArthur Generals team from the one they played last year.
Conroe @ Aldine MacArthur- Conroe has had the number of the Aldine MacArthur Generals for the past few years and since Conroe showed they can run the ball with RB Lou Greenwood once again this year I don't see that trend stopping here. Conroe by 10.
Oak Ridge @ Caney Creek (4A)- Oak Ridge had a huge upset avoided with a comeback win against a very weak Willis (4A) team. Caney Creek is coming off a great season and looks to upset the War Eagles early this season. Caney Creek by 6.
Lufkin @ Dallas Kimball (4A)- Dallas Kimball is a very good 4A team but the Lufkin Panthers once again have a terrific defense and an offense that is not as great as teams of the past but can still score big when needed. Lufkin by 17.
Magnolia vs Tomball- Both of these teams have had success in the distant past but now are struggling programs. Last week Tomball got throttled by College Park and Magnolia lost big to 4A Huntsville. This game is big for both teams as it could be their only win of the year. Tomball by 3.
The Woodlands @ Katy- Katy showed why they are ranked top 10 in the state and Woodlands showed they can move the ball in a cloud of dust all the way down the field with Milo. Katy by 14.
College Park vs Morton Ranch- College Park showed that they are the real deal once again this year and Morton Ranch is far from becoming what the Cavaliers have become in only their second year as well. College Park by 20.
