FB Kempner OL has sights set on UNT

FB Kempner OL Zack Kisinger has been actively working the recruiting process from the Spring ball through summer camps and visits. After all of this labor, he has a favorite in the Lone Star State. TPI caught up with him to get the latest news in recruiting.

Zack Kisinger of Fort Bend Kempner has been working hard on the gridiron to gain the attention of Division I coaches. To date he has not pulled in the offer he hoped for, but has plenty of interest across the country. But as of right now, he is not looking to travel too far.

"I would like to attend school in Texas," Kisinger said.

The 6-3, 285-pound offensive lineman has been receiving interest from New Mexico, North Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and recently, Navy. But Kisinger has a clear favorite.

"I have been keeping close contact with UNT," Kisinger said. "I really like the coaching staff there. I spoke with them over the summer on an unofficial visit."

Kisinger stated that he has family down there, many of which attended North Texas. According to Kisinger, the unofficial visit went well and the Mean Green coaches want him to return.

"I talked with coach (David) Rausch and he wants to bring me in on an official visit," Kisinger said. "He said I would get to catch one of their home games."
