TPI's Week 2 Top Performers: 19-5A

With all the football action going on all across the state, TPI's Ahmard Vital will highlight some of the top player performances from Week 2 in the District of 19-5A.

RB Eric Banks, Northbrook
Banks still racking up major yards for the Raiders team. In his second week on TPI's top list, Banks rushed for 118 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown in a 14-6 win over Waltrip. Northbrook is undefeated for the season at 3-0.

WR Ben Bredthauer, Houston Stratford
Bredthauer has excelled at his new position, and against Spring he made quite a few plays. He hauled in nine passes for 123 yards and a touchdown. Ultimately, the Spartans lost to Spring 29-24. 

WR Tyson Williams, Aldine
Williams has proven to be one of the Mustangs' go-to guys. Against Klein Forest, he caught five passes for 137 yards. Aldine lost the match 14-12.

QB Andrew Luck, Houston Stratford
Luck and the Spartan team faced a tough Spring team this past weekend. He was 17-of-25 for 294 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Spring ended up winning 29-24.

RB Dontae Williams, Aldine
Williams led the Mustangs ground game against Klein Forest rushing for 124 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown. Aldine lost 14-12.
