TPI's Week 4 Top Performers: 17-5A

With all the football action going on all across the state, TPI's Ahmard Vital will highlight some of the top player performances from Week 4 in the District of 17-5A. And hold on tight because there are plenty of them.

QB Kolby Gray, Cy Falls
Gray may just end up being a regular to TPI's list as he keeps turning in top performance numbers. Gray was 23-of-28 for 423 yards and four touchdowns. He also picked up 36 yards on the ground and two more touchdowns. The Golden Eagles won their district opener against Cy Creek 57-32. Look for Gray's numbers to continue putting up big numbers.

QB Russell Shepard, Cy Ridge
Shepard, one of the state's top dual-threat quarterbacks, showed his versatility in a 55-13 win against Langham Creek. Shepard scored four touchdowns (66 yards pass, 2 TDs – 53 yards rush, 2 TDs). 

WR Darius Bolden, Denzel Wells, Eric Williams, Cy Falls 
With a total of 686 yards of total offense, there were several guys at wide reciever who made things happen offensively. Bolden (6 rec, 124 yards, 2TD), Wells (6 rec, 102 yards, 2 TD), and Williams (7 rec, 107 yards) all played a big role in Cy Falls' 57-32 win over Cy Creek.

QB Jacob Thompson, Cy Creek
Though the Cougar quarterback put up good numbers, it was not enough as Cy Creek fell to Cy Falls 57-32. Thompson was 16-of-27 for 182 yards passing. On the ground, he had 127 yards and two touchdowns.

RB Anthony Bibbs, Jersey Village
In a the district opener and first win for the Falcons, running back Anthony Bibbs made his presence known. Bibbs had 17 carries for 123 yards and three touchdowns. He also had a couple of catches for 23 yards. Jersey Village won by the score of 42-20 over Cy Springs.

RB Shane Turner, Cy Falls
Turner came through big in Cy Falls' 57-32 win over Cy Creek. Turner had 203 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns. 

RB Brent Mitcham, Cy Creek
In a game where there was plenty of scoring, Mitcham returned a kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown and had a 122 yards rushing in a 57-32 loss to Cy Falls.
