TPI's Week 4 Top Performers: 18-5A

With all the football action going on all across the state, TPI's Ahmard Vital will highlight some of the top player performances from Week 4 in the District of 18-5A.

RB Jeremy Hills, Alief Elsik
Hills performance this week is evident of why he is one of Texas' top running backs. The future Longhorn rushed for 257 yards and five touchdowns in a 35-28 win over district rival Alief Hastings.

ATH Trent Hunter, Katy
Filling in for starter Aundre Dean on offense, Hunter came in and rushed for 126 yards on 10 carries and touchdowns. Defensively, Hunter made about 8 tackles, one of which stopped Alief Taylor on a fourth-and-goal to keep the Lions out of the end zone. The Tigers remain undefeated with a 38-0 win over Alief Taylor.

QB Jhvaughn Forde, Alief Hastings
Forded continues to put up top numbers making TPI's list for the second week in a row. Forde was 10-of-18 for 151 yards and a touchdown and interception. On the ground, he had 100 yards and a touchdown in a losing effort (35-28) against Alief Elsik.

RB Jeff Oliver, Katy Cinco Ranch
On a cool homecoming night, Oliver had a huge night gaining 191 yards on 21 carries and a touchdown in a 26-7 win against Katy Morton Ranch.

QB Will Handlin, Katy Mayde Creek
In a game where the Rams' running game was almost non-existent, Handlin was 10-of-16 for 176 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Mayde Creek won its district opener against Katy Taylor 14-10.
