Katy OLB getting a few D1 looks

Katy OLB Brad Graham plays a big role on a defense that is known for giving up very few points. As the Tiger team enjoys their undefeated season so far, Graham has not been worried about recruiting despite not having an offer. He is hearing from some Division I colleges and TPI brings you this update.

Katy outside linebacker Brad Graham has made his presence known this season as one of the top Tiger defenders. The Tiger team is No. 1 in the area with a 4-0 record and Graham will continue to play hard to gain the attention of college recruiters.

"I just try to keep working hard and getting better," Graham said. "I do not have an offer as of right now, but I hear from Houston and some from Kansas. Actually, I talk to UH a lot."

The 6-1, 195-pound Graham recently went to the Houston football game to see the Cougars in action. This, along with the experience he got from the summer football camp, has Houston high on Graham's list.

"I really like the coaching staff at Houston," Graham said. "I like the way they play defense with their outside linebackers. I think that I could adjust well to their system."

Graham finished last season with 92 tackles and seven sacks. In a recent win over Alief Taylor, Graham had about five tackles and four quarterback hurries. He is part of a strong Tiger defense that allows only 170 yards per game and has forced 11 fumbles.

"I am going to continue to do my part for the team," Graham said. "I will help my team. If colleges see it, it would be great."
