Klein kicker's stock steady rising

Klein kicker Randy Bullock has already gained the attention of several Division I programs across the country. Though he holds four offers at the moment, many others have been in contact showing strong interest. TPI caught up with Bullock to get this recruiting update.

Before Klein place kicker Randy Bullock began his senior season, he was already pegged as one of the best in the Lone Star State. At the moment, he holds four offers but it seems like more may be on the way.

"Right now I have offers from Rice, TCU, Tulsa, and San Diego State," Bullock said. "I stay in touch with all of these schools on a regular."

On top of this, Bullock also keeps constant communications with Texas Tech, Texas A&M, South Carolina, and LSU

"They all stay in touch by phone and email," Bullock said. "If they do not contact me directly, they keep in touch with my coach."

The 5-11, 195-pound Bullock said he does not have a clear favorite at this time. He said that most of the interested schools have invited him to take an official visit, but he plans to take care of that aspect of the recruiting process once his high school career is over.

"I will probably take some visits after the season," Bullock said. "Right now, I feel like I am having a good season, but I hope to get better as the year goes on."

And by the numbers, Bullock's season is going well. With the Klein team's record currently at 4-1 on the season, Bullock has connected on four field goals this season. Two of which came last week in a 48-14 win over Spring when he made one from 54 yards and another from 49 yards.
