Central Texas rankings: Week 8

There was plenty of moving in the polls, especially in Class 5A and Class 2A. Pflugerville is back in the top spot while three teams that had losing records last season (Stony Point, Bowie, and Temple) are all in the top five. Round Rock is back in the 5A poll at No. 10 while Kerens re-enters the 2A poll at No. 8. Franklin (No. 9) and Florence (No. 10) are making their debuts in the 2A poll.
