TPI's Week 7 Top Performers: 17-5A

With all the football action going on all across the state, TPI's Ahmard Vital will highlight some of the top player performances from Week 7 in the District of 17-5A.

RB Shane Turner, Cy Falls
Turner is no stranger to TPI's top list as he returns for his Week 7 performance. Under the national lights, Turner had 195 yards and three touchdowns rushing. He also opened up the second half with 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Look for Turner's stock to rise as a recruit after a stellar showing and a 49-37 win over Cy Falls.

RB Hasan Lipscomb, Cy Ridge
Lipscomb is an integral part of the Rams offense and he continues to put up big numbers. He ran for 206 yards and five touchdowns in a 46-14 win over Cy Creek. Lipscomb is a player you want to watch for the heavily talented Class of 2009.

WR Blake Shaw, Cy Falls
In a game where Shaw announced he would be attending USC on a track scholarship, Shaw showed the nation that his gridiron game is noteworthy as well. Shaw caught five passes for 76 yards, three of which were for touchdowns. The Golden beat Cy Fair 49-37.

QB Jeff McVaney, Strake Jesuit
McVaney is very accustomed to making TPI's list after he led the Crusader team to a 30-14 win over Cy Springs. He was 11-of-20 for 80 yards and a touchdown pass to WR Davis Burck (7/59/TD). On the ground, he added 117 yards and two scores.
