Brazoswood OL Hearing From Southland

Brazoswood's John Arthur is one of the team leaders on the Bucs offense line.

Brazoswood offensive lineman John Arthur who is 6'3" 265 lbs. has been hearing from a couple Southland Conference schools.

When asked if he has any favorite schools, or schools he would like to hear from, he had this to say:

"Right now, I am just focused on the team, and winning games. I camped last summer at Sam Houston, and at UTEP, and I have been receiving interest from Sam Houston as well as Texas State."

Arthur, whose father coached at Brazoswood for 20 years, including a 5 year stint as head coach, has been a mainstay on the Bucs offensive line for 3 years now. He is in his 3rd year starting for the Bucs, and has already been voted 1st team All-District twice coming in to this year.

I asked his thoughts on the Bucs 21-14 win over Galveston Ball, and he had this to say:

"It is great! This is a big win for our team, and it is great to come out and get a big district win."
