Robinson nearing a decision

Klein Oak ATH Terrance Robinson is one you just can't miss. Wherever he lines up on the field, it is likely a defense is going to key on him. With that said, there are several colleges eyeing him also. He has 10 total offers and is close to making a decision. Robinson talked with TPI about how he feels about his many college options.

Klein Oak athlete Terrence Robinson is having a breakout senior season and has already gained the attention plenty of Division I coaches. With 10 offers in hand, Robinson names a Top 3.

"I have offers from Houston, Tulsa, SMU, TCU, New Mexico State, Rice, Nebraska, Oregon, Boston College, and Wake Forest," Robinson said. "I would have to say that Wake Forest, Boston College, and Oregon are my Top 3.

Each of his top choices has presented different things to the table for Robinson. At Wake Forest, he was highly impressed with the player/coach relationship and described as "real close like a family." On an unofficial visit to Boston College, he was also impressed.

Recently, Robinson took a trip to Oregon on an official visit. He spoke highly on his impression of Eugene.

"It went well and the players were very up front and good people," Robinson said. "As far as the environment, Oregon is a real big football town. There was O's on the back of everyone's cars and kids walking around with their faces painted. It was cool to be there."

The 5-9, 175-pound Robinson is listed primarily as an athlete. But each school wants him for a different position. Wake Forest is recruiting him as a athlete, Boston College is looking at him as a running back, and Oregon would like to see him at receiver.

So with the list narrowed down, when will the decision be made?

"I am looking, hopefully I will make my decision soon," Robinson said. "But I do not know how soon, but pretty soon."

Robinson has 1,349 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns on the season. He has another two touchdowns receiving.
