TPI's Week 9 Top Performers: 18-5A

With all the football action going on all across the state, TPI's Ahmard Vital will highlight some of the top player performances from Week 9 in the District of 18-5A.

QB Jhvaughn Forde, Alief Hastings
Forde put up adequate numbers to get the job done against Katy Morton Ranch. In a 41-7 victory, Forde was 8-of-10 for 80 yards two touchdowns and an interception. He added another 68 yards on the ground with a score to inch the Fighting Bears closer to a spot in the postseason.

QB Bo Mitchell, Katy
Katy's leader Mitchell is still on a roll and makes TPI's list once again. In a 45-6 win over Alief Elsik, Mitchell was 11-of-18 for 243 yards and two touchdowns. Look for his stock to continue to rise.

QB Will Handlin, Katy Mayde Creek
Handlin is handling business on the field and has the Rams eyeing the postseason. In a winning effort against Alief Taylor (27-20), he was 21-of-34 for 251 yards and touchdown and interception. 

RB Aundre Dean, Katy
What can be said about Dean that has not already been said? He is big, strong, and has good breakaway speed. Against Alief Elsik, a game in which Katy won 45-6, Dean ran for 207 yards and two touchdowns.
