Another in a long line of talented prospects at Cedar Hill is Defensive Tackle Jamarcus Goodall. The 5'11 ½ 290 pound honorable mention performer was a big part of a solid Longhorns defense which led the charge to an 8-4 mark and a trip to the Class 5A Area Playoffs in 2007.

Goodall is a traditional run stuffer which his excellent strength and low center of gravity, Jamarcus bench presses 350 pounds and he squats 560 pounds and he's a member of the CHHS powerlifting team.

"My main strength is my strength, I'm good against the run and I normally take on at least two guys which helps the linebackers make plays," said Goodall. Jamarcus says this summer he's looking to work on his quickness and getting off the ball quicker.

As of right now Jamarcus doesn't have any offers but Texas, Oklahoma State, North Texas and Hawaii are among his favorite schools. This summer look for Goodall in camps at North Texas, Oklahoma and Texas besides participating in the Longhorns off-season program.

Jamarcus says academics and campus atmosphere will play key roles in deciding where he lands but that decision likely won't come until after the 2008 season for the future business major.

After watching Cedar Hill win a state title in 2006, Jamarcus is hoping that he can duplicate that success in 2008, "I am hoping we can win district first and then make a run to state."
