Chayse Joubert will add another dimension to the Duncanville Panthers offense in 2008, Joubert who transferred back to DHS after a year at Grace Prep in Arlington has the combination of size and speed to give defenses fits.

Chayse who stands in at 6'1 187 pounds boasts 4.4 speed and a 31 inch vertical leap and he's got surprising strength as he sports a 275 pound bench press and a 365 pound squat max. Joubert last year at Grace Prep Academy earned first team all-district honors.

Besides his exploits on the football field, Joubert is also a member of the Duncanville track team where specializes in the sprints. "I think my biggest asset is the fact that I am a playmaker when I get the ball in my hands. This summer I'm really looking to develop chemistry with my teammates and learn the new offense," said Joubert.

Joubert currently holds one offer from Miami and he's also got Texas A&M, Kansas, Texas Tech and LSU in his top five at this time. Chayse plans on having a very busy summer as he'll attend two possibly three camps in addition to playing seven on seven.

The future Accounting major says he'll likely play the recruiting game by ear and if the right offer comes along he'll commit early but Joubert seems content with deciding after the 2008 season. "I really want to help bring the tradition back to Duncanville this year, I'm hoping we can win district and make a run in the playoffs. I know we have the talent to do it."
