Kountze Lions

The Kountze Lions were just 1 win away from making the playoffs last year. The Lions have been known for some time as the district doormats but that changed last season when they posted a 7-3 overall record and a 4-2 district mark that included a win over district power East Chambers. The Lions look primed to make another playoff push in 2008 with the help of 16 total starters that return. The Lions have always been more of a Basketball School in the past but things are finally turning around for the Football Program.
