According to an e-mail from coach Shane Hallmark this morning Kelvin Jackson is the latest Hightower player to join the commit ranks as he verbally pledged to play football for Navy.

At 6-foot-3, and weighing 240 pounds he is not very big but those who have seen him know he is quick and makes plays. He is a defensive tackle for Hightower but according to Coach Hallmark he committed as an offensive lineman.

Though overshadowed by some of his teammates he has long been on the radar by many schools because of his great play on the defensive side of the ball.
