Houston Chavez vs. Houston Lamar
Though it still is very early in the season, this game could have some implications as to what team could take the 20-5A district crown. And while Lamar is usually the team that takes the title (not to say they still may not), I see the stronger team in Chavez. Offensively Mark Cole and Andre Kelly are a dangerous tandem and have been hitting on all cylinders all season.
Of course this is the best team they have faced all year, but look for the "Blue Dogs" to be in full effect as the Lobos roll.

Houston Madison vs. Aldine Nimitz
Seems like the Cougars are on a roll and now the challenge of one of Houston ISD's best in Madison is next up. This will showcase quarterbacks Broderick Thomas Jr. of Madison and Nimitz's Zerick Rollins, both of whom are dual threat athletes. The Cougars will likely rely on their string ground game featuring Marion Grice and Co., which will open up the passing game for Rollins to make it happen.

Houston Westside vs. Conroe
Both squads are 1-1 and likely eager to get back on the gridiron. Offensively, each team can move the ball, but the Wolves have a more balanced attack. This game does feature two of Greater Houston's top backs with Lou Greenwood and Frank Williams. Look for the ground game to set the tone, but Westside's strength in the passing game, led by Otis Seals, will be key.

Houston Bellaire vs. Houston Milby
Despite having a strong ground game, the Milby football team has struggled and is still looking for win No. 1. Not sure that will happen as the Buffaloes face a talented Cardinal team. Look for Bellaire to be dominant in this one from start to finish.
