Thursday's Game

Dobie (2-1 1-0) vs South Houston (0-2 0-1)

The Dobie Longhorns come off a huge upset of Pasadena Memorial last week in which RB Randy Owens broke out for 238 yards and 2 TD's. The Longhorns pass defense stepped it up last week keeping their opponent out of the endzone and forcing an interception, but did give up 364 yards on the ground. They will look to minimize that against South Houston this week.
The South Houston Trojans are coming off a 49-7 loss to Deer Park in the opening week of district play last week. Trojans RB Raheem Oladimeji was the lone bright spot for the Trojans rushing for 177 yards on 19 carries and scoring the only TD for the team. The Trojan defense did force a couple fumbles against the Deer recovering one of them, and will look to force some more turnovers this week.
