District 19-5A: Week 5 Predictions

TexasPrepInsider.com has returned for the 2008 football season and we are bringing back our weekly predictions of you favorite teams. Check out who we feel will come away with a win this week. And best of all, you can enjoy this content for free.

Aldine Eisenhower vs. Aldine Macarthur
While Eisenhower seems to be slowly progressing forward, Macarthur looks like the opposite. The Generals still remain winless and they will face off against a pretty potent offensive attack. After last week's performance, Eisenhower's Curtis McGregor should see his stocks rise. Look for he, and quarterback Kenneth Guiton, to have good numbers en route to win No. 2

Aldine Nimitz vs. Aldine
Nimitz fell last week, but those close to the Cougar organization know that these boys are hungry for a playoff spot. The Cougars will play an Aldine team that has struggled so far this season. Look for Marion Grice and Marquis Abram to set the tone with the ground game. This will allow Zerick Rollins the open lanes to connect with his receivers.

Cougars roll.

Humble vs. Humble Atascocita
Humble is back in form with Keith Baker back in the line up. He had a solid game last week against Aldine. Now he and the Humble team face off against a team that is literally in their back yard. Atascocita is 3-0 and have been sound on defense and special teams. This game, if it hasn't already, will become one of the big rivalries in the city. The Eagles have been holding down their undefeated status, but that changes after this week.

Look for Baker to have another big night as the Wildcats coma away with the win.
